General Partner, Senior Consultant Mr. Gandia brings over 22 years of healthcare leadership and problem solving in both the military and civilian sectors. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He received a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from George Washington University. His military education includes the Air Force Commissioned Officer’s Training and Health Services Administration School, the Army Medical Service Corps Advanced Course, and the Army Command and Staff College. Mr. Gandia has held a variety of military positions including: OIC of the Kirtland Air Force Base Family Practice Clinic, Administrator of the Kirtland Air Force Base Medical Clinic, 377th Air Wing Mobilization Officer and Chief TRICARE Officer; OIC of Soldier Readiness Processing Medical Operations and Personnel Officer for the South Carolina Medical Command; Platoon Leader and OIC of the Medical Service Team and Quartermaster Team, and Battalion Operations Officer, for the 3-348 IN RGT, 158th IN BDE. Most recently, Mr. Gandia commanded the 256th Area Support Medical Company during their combat tour in Iraq, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star medal. In addition to his military career, Mr. Gandia has held a number of civilian positions, including: Administrative Resident for St. Mary Medical Center, Director of Radiology Records for George Washington University Hospital, Healthcare Consultant for MECON Management Engineers, Performance Improvement Specialist for Shands Healthcare, Center Director for Solantic Urgent Care, and owning his own businesses. Most recently, Mr. Gandia has been the administrator of a 270-person clinic serving 27,000 TRICARE beneficiaries with primary and specialty care. Shaun McMahon Gandia General Partner, Senior Consultant Shaun brings with her eight years as a sciences officer in the Air Force and database construction and use. Her mathematical acumen was integral in GPS mapping during the 1990s utilizing laser and photoreflectors. Shaun was integral in bringing fiber optic cable to the home with Pirelli Cable's "Premises" projects. Shaun leads IHI's efforts in database construction, SAS programming and data checking, and spreadsheet analysis. Her attention to detail and quick trun-around make her an invaluable resource for those needing assistance with any database projects. |
